PUSH! is a dynamic youth development initiative supporting at-risk young people to build knowledge, social skills, and confidence, and to make good choices.
PUSH! is underpinned by many principles of effective youth crime prevention programs, including early intervention, mentoring, skill-building, and strengths-based approaches.
Our evidence based programs offer practical learning and mentorship to support disengaged young people to develop the skills and mindset to make positive choices and develop pathways to learning and work.
PUSH! offers a variety of age appropriate programs for young people aged 9 - 21yrs. We partner with schools and other referral agencies to get young people learning ‘on the tools’, in our PUSH! Workshop, or outreach sites using our mobile PUSH! Van.
We work collaboratively with our local employer partners to help you fill your vacancies with the right job seekers. But the support doesn’t stop there. We can also help you identify employer incentives you may be eligible for and we provide in-work support for any Younity referred hires for their first 6 months on the job, ensuring that if any problems pop up, we’re there to help!
PUSH! is Younity Community Services’ youth development program, which uses bicycle mechanic activities and mentoring to help young people with social skills, building confidence and connecting to educational and vocational activities.
