Women into Work recognises that women face unique barriers to work, often resulting from parenting, caring or mental health. Designed BY women, FOR women, our Women into Work courses focus as much on overcoming these barriers as on qualifications and training. Each course covers four vital components—confidence, skills and knowledge and community.
Whether it may be a job, training or even self-employment, with Women into Work you’ll find a safe and supportive space to set your goals and navigate your pathways to success.

Our first course course for 2024 starts on Jan 29th and has an elective module on training as a Teacher Aide. This is a new focus for us, and a direct response to employer and job seeker demand!
Working with children as a teacher's aide is an incredibly rewarding experience. It's a career where you have the opportunity to support the development of children during their education journey. You'll be making a significant difference to your students as you help them through their school experience.
The course runs for 10 weeks, 3 days a week (Tues/Wed/Thurs) and within school hours (9.30 - 2.00)

Complete a 12-week course and gain your Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations as well as your white card, first aid certificate and forklift and/or scissor lift licence.
Learning Together is a community based literacy program that supports parents to develop their own reading skills, so they can promote reading and learning together with their children.
Learning Together also tackles skills in other key literacies, including finance, health, digital and numeracy.
Learning Together runs over 8 weeks, and is held during school hours at DBay North and Moreton Downs State Schools.
The program uses fun scenarios such as cooking, craft and scrapbooking as backdrops to teach these valuable skills
