From adjusting brakes to fixing flats, our skilled youth mentors are on hand to share their knowledge and introduce participants to the wider world of PUSH! programs.

Through COGS, Participants will complete a Certificate II in Skills for Work in Small Machinery. COGS will provide a tailored, inspiring, flexible & learning program to assist young people to understand and tackle their psychosocial and structural barriers to work.
Participants will benefit from extensive wrap-around support modules delivered face-to-face and & online within a modular and flexible program structure.
After graduation, participants will join our Stay Connected program, offering ongoing support to find and start work.
TOP GEAR is a nine-week course where you'll learn to build your own bike from scratch. In our kitted-out mobile or onsite workshop, our youth mentors will teach you not just how to assemble and customise your bike but also important skills like working as a team, leading, setting goals, and managing yourself.
This program isn't just about the mechanics—it's about coming together, achieving something great, and getting ready for bigger challenges in life. The program will be full of opportunities to discover your strengths while developing practical, teamwork and leadership skills essential for learning and life.
At the end, celebrate your hard work with a special lunch and take home the bike you built, along with a certificate to show what you've accomplished. If you're ready to learn, create, and grow, TOP GEAR is for you.
First Gear is a practical, one-session introductory program focused on bike maintenance and road safety that will give young people a taste of personal and social development.
On the day, youth mentors will offer support and guidance, facilitating discussions and activities that aim to build basic life skills like teamwork and problem-solving. This aspect of the program is about starting to build the participants' confidence and helping them see the value of community and personal growth.
We understand that one day is just the beginning, so while First Gear introduces bike maintenance and safety, it also lays the groundwork for further development. It's an entry point into our broader range of programs or those offered by schools, aimed at deepening these skills and exploring new ones.
First Gear sets the stage for ongoing growth and learning.

Younity’s Indigenous Pathways youth Initiative, Young Mob, will hold its first event during NAIDOC Week, Tuesday, July 8th, at Apex Park, celebrating the theme for 2025—"The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy."
Young Mob aims to reconnect First Nations young people across Moreton Bay with their heritage through traditional sports, recreation, and arts activities.
Over the next two years, a calendar of Young Mob events and activities will be run through Younity’s Indigenous Pathways program. Young Mob @ The Bay will be a bi-annual celebration of First Nations youth, culture and connection.
Our first event will run on 8th July from 10 am—2 pm and will include stalls, activities, performances, food and music. Keep checking back here for program updates!
We'd also like to invite local community and services to participate in this graet event, by running a stall, showcasing a performance or arranging for young people in your networks to attend. To book your spot click here, or for information and discussion, please contact Joe Kadel, Indigenous Pathways Manager at joseph@younity.org.au or 0488 036 506.
